Whites Metal Detectors
The Whites metal detector is a product developed by White Electronics. The company started out as a company that manufactures Geiger counters during the 1950s to track and collect uranium. In 1959, Ken White Sr. opted to develop metal detectors because the government stopped buying uranium. With their experience in Geiger counters, they were able to develop top of the line metal detectors during that time. Keeping up with the demand, the company eventually developed different types of metal detectors.
What makes Whites Metal Detectors apart from their competitors is the diversity of their products. The company understands the different terrains and each terrain would require different hardware for proper metal detection. There are metal detectors that feature an 11 inch coil but White’s Metal detectors are even longer. With a 12-inch coil, these metal detectors will have longer range but these are not just simple coil, it’s a 12-inch spider coil which ensures stability that greatly increases the performance of the metal detector. Generally, Whites Metal Detectors is a brand preferred for an upgrade from simple metal detectors. But Whites also has a line of affordable metal detectors geared towards starting hobbyists. The price may be economical but the performance is almost the same.
